I’m rather thrilled to share some news: I recently passed Fundamentals of Insurance Planning. Final Grade: A!
I am now officially one step closer to meeting the educational requirements for a Chartered Financial Consultant® [ChFC®] professional designation.
This was the second of eight courses I have to pass. So I’m one-quarter of the way there! Go, me!

I’m not going to lie — these courses are work! Sometimes I feel like every time I stuff a new fact into my brain, another fact falls off the back of the memory shelf somewhere in my brain.
It doesn’t help that I’m dealing with a few other things (building a business, menopause, a terminally ill husband, a water-damaged basement, aging parents, etcetera, etcetera) all while studying and sitting for exams — but then we all lead complicated lives, don’t we?
Are you curious about what kind of fun financial facts I’m learning? Would you like to join me on the journey and learn along with me? Join the Learn with Elizabeth! email list.
