Migrating to the new YNAB?
Feeling a little lost? A little confused? A little frustrated?
Yeah, I feel your pain.
I tried the new YNAB half a dozen times over a period of nearly two years before finally making the switch. The main reason for the prolonged transition? I didn’t want to leave all my data behind. And I didn’t want to archive it in a Fresh Start.
My YNAB budget is as close as I come to keeping a daily journal. I refer to it all the time… When was the last oil change? How much did we give grandchild #1 when she graduated from high school? College? When did I buy that charger that just broke?
Besides, I don’t like being pushed around and told what to do. Forcing me to choose between upgrading to new YNAB or forever using Mojave is a good way to annoy me. At least if I have to make the switch, don’t bully me into making a fresh start, amirite?
